Seven Labs Website Terms of Use

1. Who these terms are between

These terms govern your use of www.sevenlabs.co.za (the “Site”), operated by Seven Labs Technology (Pty) Ltd (“Seven Labs”, “we”, “us”, “our”), registration number [insert company registration number], of 102 Witch-Hazel Avenue, Highveld Technopark, Centurion, 0157, South Africa.

By using the Site, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree with them, please don’t use the Site.

These terms cover use of the Site itself. They don’t cover the commercial terms of any quote, order, kitting agreement, or supply arrangement between you and Seven Labs, those are governed by whatever separate agreement or purchase order terms apply to that transaction.

2. Who can use this Site

The Site is intended for businesses and professionals in the electronics manufacturing and procurement sector. It isn’t directed at children, and we ask that it not be used by anyone under 18.

3. Using the Site

You may browse the Site, request quotes, submit bills of materials, and sign up for our newsletter for your own genuine business purposes. You agree not to:

• use the Site in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it, or interfere with anyone else’s use of it

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, our systems, or any account

• use any automated system (bots, scrapers, or similar) to extract data from the Site without our prior written consent

• submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form on the Site

• use the Site to transmit anything unlawful, harmful, or infringing on someone else’s rights

4. Submitting BOMs and enquiry information

When you submit a bill of materials, RFQ, or other technical information through the Site, you confirm that you have the right to share that information with us, whether it’s your own or belongs to a client or third party. We’ll treat submitted files and information as confidential, and use them only to prepare a response, quote, or sourcing recommendation, in line with our Privacy Policy.

We aim to respond to RFQs quickly, often within a day, but actual turnaround depends on component availability and supplier lead times, and nothing on the Site is a guarantee of a specific price, lead time, or availability until confirmed in writing.

5. Intellectual property

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, the Seven Labs name and branding, and the “Move to Effortless” tagline, is owned by or licensed to Seven Labs and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and download content for your own personal or internal business reference, but you may not reproduce, distribute, or use it commercially without our prior written permission.

Any BOM data, technical files, or materials you submit to us remain your property (or that of the relevant rights holder). We don’t claim ownership over anything you send us.

6. Accuracy of information

We take care to keep the Site accurate and up to date, but component availability, pricing, lead times, and specifications in our industry change quickly, sometimes daily. Information on the Site is provided for general guidance and shouldn’t be relied on as a final quote, specification, or commitment. Formal quotes and order confirmations are issued separately and take precedence over anything shown on the Site.

7. Third-party links

The Site may link to third-party websites, including supplier or partner sites. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices. Visiting a linked site is at your own discretion.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is.” To the extent permitted by law, Seven Labs makes no warranties, express or implied, about the Site’s availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose, and we won’t be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site, including loss of business, data, or profit, except where that liability can’t be excluded by South African law.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, or for anything else that can’t lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Seven Labs against any claim, loss, or liability arising from your misuse of the Site or your breach of these terms, including any claim that information you submitted (such as a BOM file) infringed a third party’s rights.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our services, or the law. The date at the top shows when they were last updated. Continued use of the Site after an update means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
