Why shortages keep happening
Component shortages come in waves. Roughly every seven to ten years, a crisis compresses global supply exactly when demand won’t slow down. We’ve worked through three of them alongside our clients: 2011, the 2018 to 2019 trade disruption, and COVID. Each time, the lesson was the same. The earlier you ask, the more options you have.
